Data Transfer Notice Notice of myTrips Data Transfer As you may already have been informed by your employer or your contact at PwC, PwC has agreed to sell the global mobility tax and immigration services business to CD&R Galaxy UK Opco Limited, its affiliated entities or other entities operating as part of the same network (together, the "Purchaser"). Purchaser is part of a US headquartered, global organisation and we believe that they will allow the new business to pursue its strategic ambitions in the mobility space, through bringing the unique scale of investment in client service and technology required to enhance the global operating and delivery model, making it ideally placed to offer clients the highest quality and choice of services they are looking for, outside of the PwC family. The sale closing date is expected to be in the first half of 2022. As a result of your past or ongoing use of PwC's myTrips business traveller assessment platform, PwC holds information relating to you in the context of tax services, social security, and/or immigration services provided by the global mobility tax and immigration services business. Part of the transfer process will include moving control of PwC's systems, including the data on such systems, which may include information related to you, from PwC to the Purchaser. The purpose of this communication is to notify you that on the sale closing date we intend to securely transfer your information, that has been collected through and/or in relation to the myTrips business traveller platform, to the Purchaser. In transferring your information to the Purchaser, we will rely on a lawful basis called 'legitimate interests', as we have a legitimate interest in facilitating the transfer of assets, including information, as part of the sale of the business to the Purchaser. Transferring the information is also in the legitimate interests of the Purchaser and individuals who receive the services described above, as the information will allow the business to continue to provide those services in a secure and efficient way, without delay or interruption. Currently information contained in PwC's myTrips platforms are housed in servers located in its global cloud hosting solutions based in the EU and will be transferred to the Purchaser's global cloud hosting solutions that will also be based in the EU. Once this information has been transferred it shall be subject to the Purchaser's privacy and data security policies and procedures. No action is required from you with respect to this transfer and it will be fully managed between PwC and the Purchaser.
